KUILIN, April 26 (Xinhua) -- Three people died and four others were injured
after a bus-truck collision on Saturday morning, in southwest China's Guangxi
Zhuang Autonomous region, according to local police.
The four injured, including one from Taiwan and another from Hong Kong,
were hospitalized and in stable condition.
The accident occurred at about 5 a.m. when a bus, with 37 people aboard,
collided head-on with a truck after swerving to avoid a fallen tree on the
Pingle County section of the No. 323 national highway. The truck was carrying
two people, including the driver.
Both drivers died at the site, and a co-driver of the bus died in the
hospital.
It is unclear how many of the bus passengers were from Hong Kong and
Taiwan.
