Four die in steam-tank burst at NE China chemical factory

SHENGYANG, April 23 (Xinhua) -- Four workers died of a steam burst Thursday in a chemical factory in northeast China's Liaoning Province, local authorities said.

The workers were repairing a steam tank when the burst occurred at about 3 p.m. in the Shenyang Chemical Industry Group, according to the provincial Work Safety Administration.

The accident did not cause a fire or have any environmental effect, officials said.
