BEIJING, Dec. 25 (Chinese media) -- Chinese equities were too weak to reverse the
lackluster for the past three trading days, remaining flat in morning session of
Thursday.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index slipped 0.27 points, or 0.01
percent, to 1,863.53. Shenzhen Component Index on the smaller Shenzhen Stock
Exchange edged up 6.48 points, or 0.09 percent to 6,852.08.
Combined turnover was 30.29 billion yuan (4.43 billion U.S. dollars), down
from 37.72 billion yuan in the morning session of the previous trading day.
Gains outnumbered losses by 470 to 341 in Shanghai and 482 to 222 in
Shenzhen.
