Bus-truck collision kills five, injures other five in SW China

BEIHAI, Feb. 7 (Chinese media) -- Five people, including a one-year-old boy, died

and other five injured after a mini-bus rear-ended a truck Saturday on a highway

in southwest China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.



The tragedy occurred at about 1 a.m. on the Hepu county section of the Yu

Zhan (Chongqing-Zhanjiang) highway in Guangxi, leaving five dead and other five

injured, all aboard the bus.

An initial investigation shows that the accident bus, which is allowed to

carry eight people, had 11 passengers on board actually.

All the injured were hospitalized and with no life danger. A investigation

is under way into the cause of the accident.
